    Your Binance account
    is blocked?

Most Binance lockouts are one of four things: a timed security cooldown, a risk-system hold, an unfinished identity check, or a Terms of Use case. They are not the same problem and they do not have the same answer.

    BINANCEALERT

    Withdrawal temporarily suspended

Your withdrawal may be at risk. You can try again in 24 hours.

    What it means

This is the timed security lock. Binance's support article shows both a 24-hour and a 48-hour variant of the message and states the function is automatically reactivated when the period ends.

    What Binance requires

Nothing but time. The article states plainly that the suspension cannot be lifted before the suspension period ends.

    Your first step

Read the exact wording in the app — it names the period — and wait it out. Anyone offering to remove it faster is running the scam Binance warns about.

Can't find your case? Click 'Analyze my case' — we'll review the wording together.

    Why Binance restricts an account

Binance documents these separately, and the difference matters: two of them clear on their own, one needs a document from you, and one is a decision you have to answer.

    01

A security change started a withdrawal cooldown

Binance suspends withdrawals for a set period after certain security operations — changing your password is the example its own support article gives. The article is explicit that the function reactivates automatically when the period ends and that the suspension cannot be lifted before then, which is why nobody, including Binance support, can shorten it.

    02

The risk system flagged activity on the account

Binance states that the withdrawal function is temporarily disabled when its system detects abnormal activity. This is automated and precedes any human review, so the first signal you get is usually the blocked action itself rather than a message explaining it.

    03

A withdrawal matched a fraud pattern

Where a withdrawal appears to link to identified patterns of fraudulent action, Binance's anti-scam measures hold it. The destination address and the circumstances of the transfer are part of what is being assessed, not only your account history.

    04

Identity verification is incomplete or was rejected

Binance's route back to withdrawals runs through identity verification on the website or app, followed by a review. If verification cannot be completed, its article points to an appeal submitted with supporting documents from the Withdraw Crypto page.

    05

A Terms of Use case, notified as a deactivation notice

Binance says all accounts must comply with its Terms of Use and that it may terminate access and deactivate an account that violates them. This arrives as a notice with its own instructions and deadlines — it is a decision, not a cooldown, and it is answered rather than waited out.

Binance does not publish a single list mapping every restriction to a cause, so the reason shown in your account and in the email it sends is the authoritative one for your case.

5 things that will make the situation worse

    01

Do not look for a way around a timed cooldown

Binance's own article states the suspension cannot be lifted before the period ends. Every offer to shorten it — paid or free — is false by construction.

    02

Do not act on a link or a code sent to you

Binance states it will never request you to click a link or enter a code to unblock your account. That message is the scam, whatever it looks like.

    03

Do not trust anyone presenting themselves as a Binance representative

Binance says it has never appointed official analysts or representatives to advise users, and never reaches out through unofficial channels. Domains, emails, phone numbers and social handles can be cross-checked with Binance Verify.

    04

Do not open a second account

A new account does not inherit the balance of the restricted one, and it gives a Terms of Use case a second fact to be about.

    05

Do not send a long explanation nobody asked for

Where Binance has asked a specific question, an unprompted narrative adds claims that then have to be reconciled with your account history.

    “

Binance will never request you to click a link or enter a code to unblock your account.

What to check first on Binance

    1

    Read the exact message

A wait time in the message means a timed cooldown. No wait time means a review, and those are answered differently.

    2

    Check the account email

Requests for information and deactivation notices arrive there. Verify the sender against Binance Verify before acting on anything in the message.

    3

    Check verification status

Binance's documented route back to withdrawals runs through identity verification and its review. An unfinished check will block everything downstream of it.

    4

Use the appeal Binance points to

Where verification cannot be passed, the appeal with supporting documents is submitted from the Withdraw Crypto page or the app's withdrawal screen.

What Binance may ask you for

Binance does not publish a single document checklist for restricted accounts. What its support articles do describe is the route — identity verification in the app, and an appeal with supporting documents where that fails.

Identity verification in the app or on the website

The documented path to reactivating withdrawals: complete verification, then wait for the team's review and approval.

Supporting documents attached to an appeal

For users who cannot pass verification, Binance's article describes submitting an appeal with the required documents from the Withdraw Crypto page.

Context for a specific flagged transfer

Where the hold is on one withdrawal, what is in question is that transaction: its purpose, its counterparty and how the funds arrived.

A response to the notice you received

A deactivation notice states what it alleges. The response that matters is the one addressed to that, within the deadline the notice gives.

Send documents only through the Binance app or website. Binance states it will never request that you click a link or enter a code to unblock your account.

    When was your account blocked?

    What we actually do

Work out which restriction you actually have

A timed cooldown, a risk hold, a verification block and a deactivation notice look similar in the app and need different responses. That is the first thing we establish.

Reconstruct what Binance is likely looking at

Which transfers, which counterparties, which period. Not to guess the trigger, but so your answer matches the account history rather than contradicting it.

Answer the question that was asked

Requests from Binance are narrow. We help keep the response to the point that was raised, in the channel Binance named.

    DON'T

    Prepare the documents before submitting

Draft wording and an ordered set of attachments, so an appeal is not weakened by a document that raises a new question.

Say honestly what the case looks like

Including when the answer is that the restriction is timed and the only correct action is to wait. We do not unfreeze accounts and cannot promise that Binance will.

RISK: HIGH→ We recommend acting promptly

The decision is always the exchange's. What we control is that your case reaches it complete, correct and on time.

    Frequently asked questions

Why were my Binance withdrawals suspended right after I changed my password?

Binance temporarily suspends the withdrawal function after certain security operations, and its support article names changing your password as one of them. The message in the app states the period — its examples are 24 hours and 48 hours — and the function is automatically reactivated when it ends.

    unblock.exchange · today 14:23

Can Binance support lift the withdrawal suspension early?

No. The article is explicit: the suspension cannot be lifted before the suspension period ends. Anyone claiming they can shorten it is not acting for Binance.

    unblock.exchange · today 14:30

Binance disabled my withdrawals and I changed nothing. What happened?

Binance also disables the withdrawal function when its system detects abnormal activity, and holds withdrawals that appear to match identified patterns of fraudulent action. Neither trigger is published, so the practical step is to read the notification and the account email for a specific request.

    unblock.exchange · today 14:37

What is a Binance account deactivation notice?

Binance states that accounts must comply with its Terms of Use and that it may terminate access and deactivate accounts in violation of them. Unlike a cooldown, a notice of this kind carries instructions and a deadline, and it needs an answer addressed to what it alleges.

    unblock.exchange · today 14:44

Someone messaging me says they can unblock my Binance account. Is that possible?

No. Binance states it will never request you to click a link or enter a code to unblock your account, has never appointed representatives to advise users, and does not contact users through unofficial channels. Its Binance Verify tool exists to cross-check domains, email addresses, phone numbers and social handles.

    unblock.exchange · today 14:51

Can Unblock Exchange get my Binance account unfrozen?

No, and neither can anyone else outside Binance. The decision is Binance's. What we do is establish which restriction you have, prepare the response and the documents for it, and tell you when the honest answer is that the lock is timed and waiting is the only correct step.
