This is the automatic 24-hour suspension. KuCoin applies it to seven named actions, including a 2FA reset, a trading-password change and an email or phone change.

Why KuCoin stops a withdrawal
Most of these are automatic, temporary and caused by something done on the account in the last day.
A security change made in the last 24 hours
KuCoin suspends withdrawals for 24 hours after deleting a passkey, changing, unlinking or resetting Google 2FA, changing or resetting the trading password, changing or unlinking the phone number or the email, unfreezing the account, or resetting the password through the forgotten-password link.
The withdrawal page reads User Forbidden
KuCoin states that this means withdrawals have been suspended on the account for some reason, and that the route is a ticket or the online chat, where its support checks the cause.
The funds are not in the account that can withdraw
KuCoin asks users to verify the funds are in the Funding Account before assuming a restriction, and to confirm there are no open orders in spot, margin, futures or lending markets holding the balance.
Identity verification has not been completed
KuCoin states that new users must complete Identity Verification before using its products and services, and that an unverified account can only sell crypto, close positions and redeem from KuCoin Earn.
The account is frozen
A freeze is separate from a withdrawal suspension: it blocks login, withdrawal and trading. KuCoin describes both a freeze the user applies and a freeze its own team applies.
The two freezes are not interchangeable. KuCoin states that once the account is safe you can apply to unfreeze it yourself from the login page, or contact customer service if the account was frozen manually — and only one of those routes works for any given case.

Do not change another security setting while a suspension runs
Each of the seven actions KuCoin lists starts its own 24-hour suspension, so tidying up your security during the wait extends it.
Do not click freeze links in emails you did not expect
KuCoin sends confirmation emails for sensitive activity with a freeze link in them. Clicking one on a message you did not trigger locks your own account.
Do not open a ticket for a countdown
If the withdrawal page is showing time remaining, KuCoin has already stated the restriction is lifted automatically.
Do not go to support for a freeze you applied yourself
KuCoin's route for a self-freeze is an unfreeze request from the login page. Support handles the other kind.
Do not pay anyone claiming they can clear User Forbidden
KuCoin publishes exactly one route for it — a ticket or its online chat — and warns in the same article that malicious actors target login and security information precisely at this moment.

Look for the countdown on the withdrawal page
KuCoin displays the remaining time until a 24-hour suspension is lifted. A countdown means there is nothing to file.
Check where the funds actually sit
KuCoin asks users to confirm the balance is in the Funding Account and not held by open spot, margin, futures or lending orders.
Work out which kind of freeze it is
A self-freeze is lifted from the login page; a manual freeze by KuCoin is lifted only by its customer service.
Use the ticket or chat for User Forbidden
That is the route KuCoin names, and it is the only state here where the cause is not visible to the account holder.
