How it works

The decision on a restricted exchange account belongs to the exchange, and we do not promise an outcome. What a compliance team can influence is the quality of the case: whether the likely reasons are understood, whether the origin of your funds is documented without gaps, and whether the replies you send are complete and consistent. That is the work Unblock.Exchange does. We work under a contract, through a company registered in Dubai.

The first consultation is free, and paid work starts only after we have studied your situation, agreed the terms with you and signed a contract.

1Start with the exchange's own channel

Before you pay anyone, including us, it helps to use what the platform itself offers. Many exchanges provide an in-account appeal, a support ticket or a dedicated source-of-funds form, and these routes are free.

You can write to the exchange's support yourself to clarify the reason for the restriction and the list of documents it asks for. What is worth avoiding is sending detailed explanations at random: contradictions in answers that have already been sent can seriously complicate a case. If you are unsure what to write, ask us first.

Some situations call for patience, not for a service. Binance states that an automatic withdrawal hold after a security change lasts 24–48 hours and cannot be shortened (source). If you are inside that window, waiting is the sensible option.

    2What we do

We study your transactions, documents and correspondence with the exchange, help you structure the information, and help you prepare replies to the exchange's requests.

    • Wallet and transaction review. At the start the team checks your wallets and recent transactions with the tools of four analytics providers. We look for possible AML risks and for links to addresses or operations that may have raised the exchange's questions.
    • Documents and explanations. That review helps to understand which documents and explanations the exchange may need, including how the origin of your funds can be shown.
    • Replies to the exchange. We help you structure the information and prepare the replies. You communicate with the exchange yourself through its official channel and stay in control of the process.

The exact reason for a restriction can only be confirmed by the exchange itself; our review shows what is likely, not what is certain. We do not ask for access to your exchange account, we do not negotiate on your behalf, and we do not hold or transfer client funds. We are not a recovery service and do not chase stolen assets.

Cases are handled by compliance specialists with six or more years of experience, including people who have worked at leading platforms and exchanges. The team has worked in this field for more than four years and has successfully completed more than 300 cases.

    3The process, step by step

    StepWhat happens
    1. Free consultationYou describe the situation and send the messages you received from the exchange. We tell you what we see and what can realistically be done.
    2. Terms and contractBefore any paid work we study the situation, agree the terms with you and sign a contract. The terms are fixed in the contract.
    3. ReviewWallets and recent transactions are checked; the likely AML risks and the documents that may be needed are identified.
    4. DocumentsThe information is structured into a clear, consistent package, including the origin of the funds.
    5. RepliesWe help prepare the replies to the exchange's requests; you send them through the official channel.
    6. DecisionThe exchange completes its review and decides. If the account is not unblocked, no success fee is charged.

    When a case looks hopeless

Sometimes the exchange stays silent for a long time, asks for new documents, or the earlier correspondence has reached a dead end. That does not always mean nothing more can be done. We study the history of the contact, the documents and the transactions to assess which steps remain. We speak honestly about the difficulties and do not promise a result in advance.

    4What it costs

Payment usually consists of a retainer before the work starts and a success fee after the result. The retainer pays for the team's work and is not refundable. The success fee is charged only after you have withdrawn the funds from your exchange account; if the account is not unblocked, there is no success fee. All terms are fixed in the contract.

We do not publish a price list. The amount depends on the case, including whether a formal legal route is needed, in which case legal partners in the exchange's jurisdiction may be involved. The first consultation is free; the terms are agreed with you and fixed in a contract before paid work begins.

    5How long it takes

In our experience cases have taken from 5 to 90 days, and some well-prepared cases were completed in 7–12 days. These figures describe past cases, not a period promised to every client; complex cases can take longer, because the review period belongs to the exchange. More on how long a case takes.

    6What we do not do

    • We do not guarantee unblocking and do not promise an exact date: the decision is the exchange's. The team does its best to reach a result and is directly interested in it.
    • We do not ask for a “tax”, a “deposit” or an “exchange fee” for lifting a restriction.
    • We do not claim to have a person inside an exchange who can secure a result.
    • We are not affiliated with any exchange and do not act on behalf of an exchange, a regulator or a law enforcement authority.

Form of payment alone does not prove a service legitimate. What can be checked is what a provider promises, what it charges for, and whether it works under a written contract. If someone contacted you first and offered to unblock your account for an advance payment, treat it with caution: the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center has warned about fictitious “recovery” operators (PSA240624, PSA250813).
