Your Crypto.com account
is blocked?
Crypto.com publishes three separate things that stop a withdrawal — a verification status, a 24-hour address lock and a full account lock. They look the same from the withdrawal screen and are undone in three different ways.

Trading may work, but the account cannot do everything.
Verify now
Further verification is required for additional features.
What it means
Crypto.com describes this state as having restricted access in the Exchange, with further verification required for additional features.
What Crypto.com requires
The verification application itself, submitted through the account.
Your first step
Complete it before anything else. No support ticket substitutes for the status changing.

The three mechanisms Crypto.com publishes
Each has its own cause, its own screen and its own way out. Two of them you turned on yourself.
Verification status: restricted access
Crypto.com describes the first status plainly — you have restricted access in the Exchange and further verification is required for additional features. This is not a penalty; it is the account never having been fully verified.
Verification pending review
Once an application is submitted, the status reads that it is pending the team's review. Crypto.com puts the review at anywhere from a few hours to a couple of business days, depending on the country of application and the quality of the documents.
The 24-hour lock on a newly whitelisted address
Withdrawals to a newly whitelisted address are disabled for 24 hours. Turning the feature off does not help in the moment either — that change also takes effect in 24 hours.
One-Button Lock
A deliberate account lock, triggered from support or from the link in a compromise notification. It blocks new orders, withdrawals, transfers and staking requests, while pending withdrawals continue to be processed.
A paused asset rather than a paused account
Crypto.com publishes a status page and pauses deposits or withdrawals for individual assets during network or security events. Nothing is wrong with the account in that case, and no document will change it.
Crypto.com's own advice while any of these is in progress is narrow and worth following: only provide information that Crypto.com specifically requests, and avoid sending unsolicited personal documents.
5 things that will make the situation worse
Do not disable the withdrawal whitelist to beat the 24-hour lock
Crypto.com states that the change takes effect in 24 hours, so it removes a protection without saving any time.
Do not send documents nobody asked for
Crypto.com's own guidance is to provide only the information it specifically requests and to avoid sending unsolicited personal documents.
Do not escalate before three business days
That is the threshold Crypto.com publishes for a pending verification, and a duplicate ticket before it does not move the queue.
Do not assume a locked account means lost funds
Crypto.com states that pending withdrawals continue to be processed and open positions maintain normal settlement while a lock is in place.
Do not pay anyone offering to unlock the account
The unlock routes Crypto.com publishes are identity verification in the app and a manual unlock by its own support after it confirms ownership. There is no third route.
You will be requested to complete identity verification in the App to unlock your account or contact our Customer Support Team for a manual unlock.

What to check first on Crypto.com
Read the verification status
Three states, and they are the fastest way to tell an unverified account from a locked one.
Count business days against the published window
A few hours to a couple of business days is normal; three business days without a change is the point at which Crypto.com says to contact support.
Check the withdrawal whitelist
A newly added address carries a 24-hour lock, and changing the setting also takes 24 hours to take effect.
Check whether the asset itself is paused
Crypto.com publishes asset-level deposit and withdrawal pauses separately from anything to do with your account.
What Crypto.com may ask you for
The document list is short and the rule around it is unusually explicit — Crypto.com asks that you send what it requested and nothing more.
The verification application itself
Submitted through the account. Crypto.com names document quality as one of the factors that decides how long the review takes.
Identity verification inside the app, to lift a lock
For app and Exchange users, Crypto.com states you will be asked to complete identity verification in the app to unlock the account.
Proof of ownership, where support unlocks manually
For Exchange-only users, Crypto.com states its support team unlocks the account after verifying that you are its owner.
SMS OTP and 2FA to change withdrawal security settings
Disabling the withdrawal whitelist requires both, and the change still takes 24 hours to apply.
Crypto.com publishes one timeframe for the unlock and one for verification, and they are not the same: a manual unlock may take several business days, while a verification review is a few hours to a couple of business days with support as the escalation after three.

When was your account blocked?
What we actually do
Separate an unverified account from a locked one
They present identically at the withdrawal screen and have nothing else in common.

Track the published windows
24 hours for a whitelisted address, a few hours to a couple of business days for verification, several business days for a manual unlock.
Prepare exactly what was requested
Document quality is one of the factors Crypto.com names as deciding how long a review takes.

Frame the escalation properly
After three business days there is a published reason to escalate. Before it, there is not.
Rule out an asset-level pause first
If the coin itself is paused, nothing about your account is wrong and no case should be opened.
The decision is always the exchange's. What we control is that your case reaches it complete, correct and on time.

That is the first of three verification statuses. Crypto.com describes it as having restricted access in the Exchange with further verification required for additional features — the account has not completed verification, rather than having been restricted for cause.

Why can't I withdraw to an address I just added on Crypto.com?

What does One-Button Lock do?
It blocks new orders, withdrawals, transfers and staking requests. Pending withdrawals continue to be processed and open positions maintain normal settlement.
